Designing and building a full-specification unmanned automated production line for the core components of pumps, motors, and hydrostatic transmission units used in heavy trucks—cylinders—is another innovative application of non-standard automated production lines in the automotive industry. The application of this product mainly solves the problems of multi-machine intermodal operation of truss frame manipulators, online operation of multiple process systems, off-machine deburring of gear hobbing mechanisms, off-machine anti-collision detection of broaching mechanisms, and post-processing packaging.
The successful implementation of this product has reduced the number of employees in the customer's workshop by nearly 20 people, with only 2 people per shift being retained for troubleshooting and plan adjustments. The annual labor cost has been reduced by about 3 million yuan. The production batch per shift has increased from 95 pieces to 145 pieces, with a production batch increase of 51%. At the same time, the implementation of the automated production line has reduced the monthly maintenance time each year. According to the requirements of the equipment instructions designed by our company, quarterly and annual inspections are carried out, which has improved the customer's workshop OEE ≥ 87%.
