Designing and building a full-specification automated production line for the cylinder block, the core component of the engine powertrain used by heavy trucks and ships, is another innovative application of non-standard automated production lines in the automotive and shipbuilding industries. The application of this product mainly solves the problems of multi-machine intermodal operation of truss frame manipulators, the online operation of multi-process systems, and the cleaning of workpieces after machine tool processing.
The successful implementation of this product has reduced the number of employees in the customer's workshop by nearly 20 people, and only 2 people are retained in each team for troubleshooting and plan adjustment. The annual labor cost has been reduced by about 4 million yuan. The production batch has increased from 6 pieces to 12 pieces, and the production batch has increased by 100%. At the same time, the implementation of the automated production line has reduced the monthly maintenance time each year. According to the requirements of the equipment instructions designed by our company, quarterly and annual inspections are carried out, which has improved the customer's workshop OEE ≥ 86%.
